The driver of a truck in Portville crashed into two parked automobiles, and the collisions struck bystanders, killing a 19-calendar year-old person and critically injuring an 18-yr-outdated girl, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Business claimed.

After deputies responded to a call just after 1 a.m. Saturday concerning a crash on Route 417, investigators identified a pickup truck pushed by a 20-year-old person struck a Jeep that was parked legally along the facet of the street, the report said. The Jeep was sent forward into a lawn where by it struck and killed the 19-yr-previous, investigators mentioned.

The pickup truck then hit a parked sedan, sending both of those motor vehicles across the garden, with at the very least just one injuring a 16-12 months-old girl and an 18-year-outdated female, the report reported. The “presence of intoxicants is suspected,” the report added, but the investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
